Alignment?
My truck pulls to the right going down a smooth rode. Always have to hold the wheel to the left a bit to keep it straight, very annoying. Also my steering wheel hardly turns back to straight after any kind of turn. Will just a standard alignment fix my problem? I got a new idler arm in October, they said it needed a pitman but never put one in. How much will an alignment run me, time involved? I only put 40 miles a week on it so I'm guessing it won't kill me for now.

If it needs a pitman arm that could be your problem depending on how bad it is. Most alignment shops will not align a vehicle with bad front end parts. Check your air pressures and cross rotate your front tires also. There is the posibility that the idler arm was not installed correctly.

I have a 2001 ford excursion and went to get an alignment and the mechanic slacked off while doing so, he never used the impact gun to tighten the adjusting sleeve thus stripping it out, before i had realized that was my problem I as well had trouble with the steering wheel coming back straight, and also had a slight pull to the right as well... I had a very "Calm Talk
