48' 6 Carb
Either to have mine rebuilt or to buy a rebuild one.? I think the part number is Holley 8HA-9510-A ?? a one barrel, has vacuum ports for both the Dist. and Wipers.
I have tried to rebuild mine but I think it will take some machining to make all of the surefaces flush again.. possibly the shaft bores also. As it had all kinds of vacuum leaks...
Or if anyone has a good one for sale !?
thanks..

North Hollywood Carb & Ignition located in North Hollywood CA may have parts or a complete carb.
This place has a lotta stuff...as they used to do all the work for Harrah's Auto Collection.
Another source that might have the carb or parts is earlyfordstore.com located in San Dimas CA.
This place is not only a parts store but a museum on all things Ford...and is located in the original 1916 Ford Dealership building.
Engler Bros Auto Parts on Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica is the best dang autoparts store here in LA LA Land for older vehicles.
Thanks. that should give me enough lead to keep me busy for a while. I checked with Recarbo on their price to rebuild it.. $171.00
I am in Nor Cal.... would be nice if those store were closer. But there are a few up this way too.. I'll get around to checking all of them.
