My opinions, looks good, its two piece. Problem I have, there is still cutting oil and metal chips in the pipe, I mean for the money it cost a and the time it takes the guy to cut it (And he probably gets paid 11 dollars a hour) he can atleast clean it up. But I am happy with the way it looks and I think it will do me well. All and all, with having to wait for it for a month it was a deal, cause of the free shipping. I give it a 8.5 out of 10.
Ugh tell me about the cutting oil and chips..Its the second one i got was FILTHY!! Really annoyed me! When you get to thinking about it, its about 20$ worth of pipe, and 10$ worth of clamps...So the other 70$ goes to welding the cobra head and should be cleaning...My 2 cents.
IMO the MBRP is a cheap product.
But it's hard to beat or even compete with it.
I personally won't install one on my truck. I'll pay more $$$ and go with a quality Grand Rock pipe Made in the USA.
I have seen the differences myself and I know what will go on my truck.
Having said that, I sell quite a few MBRP, becasue they are so dang affordable. The customer just has to deal with a few little things like you described.

Um, no. MBRP uses pipe & clamps made in China, so it's worth a LOT less than that, including shipping it here.
The ones I have seen have a turbo flange that isn't even the correct flange for the OBS. Then, the 90° elbow was welded in with a pocket towards the turbo, so the exhaust coming out of the turbo gets caught in the pocket. They just don't put them together correctly.
Aside from that, the steel tubing comes from China.
so I need to check and make sure it mates up to the turbo correctly, and I can probably take a grinder and take the pocket out (I know exactly what your talking about) But I see, and I plan on wrapping it, so lol no one will ever know. Thank you Jim =)
Put it like this... Clay @ Riff Raff saw pics of what i had to do with mine to make it work and was going to have MBRP build me something different, but i never heard back on that and i haven't bothered Clay with it any more either. Mine is slowly developing a hole from where it's rubbing. It rubs too many places to name them all, but oddly enough it's NOT rubbing on the firewall seam after me and Cody got after it with a porta power.. Oh and pay attention. if your using the factory cat connection point to the downpipe then you will have to cut the factory connection off the stock downpipe and weld it to the MBRP pipe.. i also saw ZERO performance gain, no difference in exhaust tone, and no difference in EGT's with this pipe... it's a POS IMO and next time i will get one from Dale @ Tymar OR a grand rock pipe like Jim stated..
