Well I guess BP is taking all comers for coastal cleanup at $20.00 an hour.
One of the guys I was working with called me today, and is going to send me the details.
He also said those that stayed on were at the same rate that they were previously earning, so I wonder if those guys are going to hold to their threats and move on.
My contact told me that the 'new' crew also missed their dispatch, that's a big no-no. What a way to start off under 'new management' !
Dave this may be ur best idea yet. I mean think about how many people you would be helping. There's the state of Ct, the state of LA, the federal gov't, and u make good money doing it. Id get yourself a 3000 watt power converter set up a bed and alarm clock and sleep in the bubble. Maybe skip the bed and put in a sink and moonlight in duck rescue. I mean I'm sure they have tons of jobs for a ex semen such as urself.
tell me, what do you think of this? I painted it in my model railroad paint scheme that I designed. Im not done yet, as I have some touch-ups and paint modifications to do (like change the end of the cab thats facing the long part of the locomotive to green like the drawing shows) nut its pretty much done.
Busy day today. I have to prepare for the track tomorrow. Heading up as a tow vehicle with the Mustang Club. I will have awnings out, grill fired, and a chair to sit in. Can't wait to relax.
Sounds like a nice weekend Brendon. Hope the weather holds up for ya. Take it easy!
no weekend, just tomorrow, but certainly a good kick off to it! We're going up to Lebanon Vally for a track rental day. Since I am an authorized sponsor of the club, I offered to trailer up a friend, but also bring the grill and serve lunch for the members. Should be a good time. I'll get some pics up if I can get away from the grill long enough to take some. Maybe even some vids.
