Mornin all! Wild weather we had here yesterday, the boys where down in the basement with there flashlights! I was up stairs watching the items on the deck fly away. We had hail the size of dimes fall. We went for a ride after up our street and there was trees busted up there. Just a small tree on our property fell no big deal but man that was a fast moving storm!!
I built it using some suction cups, glass handling rated, with 1/4-20 studs on them. Also, some Manfrotto Super Clamps and a Manfrotto Magic Arm, some 1.5" Aluminum rigid conduit, a cable support assemply for suspended light fixtures, and my trusty Canon XTi with Pocket Wizard remote triggers. There is a whole write up I was involved in on the Canon forum. We have tried just about everything to get a sturdy home built rig.
