I checked the firing order and my dizzy shows my the #1 spark plug at the #5 spark plug. Do I need to move the dizzy so its at the #1 spark plug?

I think I figured out the problem. I was reading about the restrictor plate thread and I did one thing which it tells you to do which is plug the green hoes that goes to the EGR and I did and my truck ran a lot better. My dad is going to make me one and I'm going to try it when I get back from work. Hopefully this works. I have a good feeling that it is going to work but thanks guys for alll your help. I will keep you guys posted on what happens. Thanks.

So after I put that restrictor plate on I'm going to leave the green hose plugged and what about the little nipple were the green hose was connected? What do I do with that?
