cutpile vs. vinyl

What are your thoughts regarding cutpile vs. vinyl. I know it should be a simple "chocolate or vanilla" decision...but i want to make sure, since it's $150.

I'm thinking the Desert Camo Vinyl from ACC. This is a function over form truck...so vinyl sounds more practical to me and easier to keep clean. I guess what I'm wondering is if anyone has had any negative (or positive) experiences with vinyl from these guys. Has anyone seen the Desert Camo styling in person? I'm just going off what i see on the internet, but it's tough to get the full feel of it.

I'm going to tear out the old, put the frost king insulation down like i saw in another thread secured on the edges with Aluminum tape. Hopefully that will keep the water from where I don't want it.

I dunno. I have both in my truck. The original rubber mat is still under the carpet the original owner put in.
With carpet on the floor, you should also have floor mats, so you don't get dirt/mud/oil/grease/blood (making sure you're awake) all over the carpet and ruin it.
With the rubber mat, all of the above will rinse off pretty easy, helping to keep you from getting caught after hiding the body so well.......

Me personally I like manual everything in my truck with rubber/vinyl flooring and vinyl seats, that way I can pressure wash the interior. I personally hate carpet in any vehicle, it's a pain to keep clean and fades easily and rips too easy. But that's just me I'm hard on vehicles.
