The words "Great" (or any variation thereof) and "Facebook" do not belong in the same paragragh, much less sentence. Regardless of what the facebook page is dedicated to......

not belong in the same paragragh,

Get hep with the jive, man.

Yeah I agree it's a little too manipulated/controlled by the company. BUT we can use it to our Own design. "To everything, it's purpose" (turn, turn, There is a season...)

For an old fart I like My Space a little better. How often do I use it? 2X a yr.

Facebook, my space, and most of those other "Social networking" sites have too many security flaws for my taste. Hence, the reason I have never joined any of them.
When I want new freinds, I'd rather meet them face to face, not just see them on the PC. Yeah, I've recieved, and accepted a few freind requests here at FTE. Most of those people are the kind of person that I would actually stop to visit, if I was traveling in their area.
With the social networking sites, you never really know who is behind the picture and words. It could be someone trying to steal personal info, or even hijack your account in hopes of defrauding your real freinds, or your bank account.

I generally just use it to keep in touch with old friends and acquaintances, but that sounds like a fun group to add. Might as well.

keep in touch with old friends and acquaintances

& cautiously make new 1s.
I like finding folks who have THE SAME interest who live LOCALLY so WE CAN meet.

THIS effort may B the same as the above 2 reasons. Hopefull it will have a "technical assistance" aspect.

Link is???? Ford 300 I6?

Fans of the Ford 300 I6?

You sure know how to add contacts (The Right Topic). Just don't steal too many :-}

I just joined. Took a little looking to find it. The name could have been a little shorter.

J. McD -
I knew a guy in the '70s: John McDonald. His dad's license plate was <E I E I O> get it, old MacDonald?
Welcome to FTE! Is that Lakeland as in FLA? CO?
U & Abandon Bronco have a similar set up - 300 I6 & Bronco. Keep your eyes pealed (or I'm sure he'd accept a PM) he's got some good ideas.

Hey Chad. I'm a McDougald, close but not quite. I live in Lakeland, FL in Polk Co. I see AB over on FSB where I used to hang out alot. I've been slowly coming over here more over the past few weeks. I've been real busy reading a lot of old threads so I haven't posted much.
