obsolete parts search

ok i admit it(although i hate to) i an a newby when it comes to hunting for obsolete parts, how exactly does one go about finding NOS parts from dealers or obsolete parts dealers? I would assume you ave to have the part number which i do but there are thousands on the net and not sure which is reputable or which is just another scam....

parts numbers i am looking for is

D5TZ-1020000-E
D5TZ-9920000-B
D5TZ-9920000-C
this is a stripe kit for a f250 long bed

this is a stripe kit for a f250 long bed
Some of the obsolete parts vendors have an inventory look up on their website (Green Sales and Parts International are two of them). You can type in the p/n and it will tell you whether they have it in stock. Just a note, when using this feature don't put in the hyphens and be sure to use the numeric 0 for zero and not the alpha O. Example D5TZ-1020000-E would be entered as d5tz1020000e (these sites aren't case sensitive). I checked Green and they don't have these items in stock.
Also, you don't need both D5TZ-9920000-B and C. You need one or the other. "B" is for a bed that has the factory tool cubby hole on the right side of the bed. "C" is for the beds that DO NOT have the tool box.
