I tested and got those codes of them being out of self test range and was wondering if they affected idle in park because mine idles high and the throttle body is clean, no vacuum leaks and the tps is new, Thanks, Rich
Yes, both can affect idle speed in Park or any other gear. The Engine Coolant Temperature sensor can get an error when coolant is low, so check your coolant level. Air Charge Temperature sensor is a primary input to the fuel richness map, so a bad ACT sensor can send your fuel injection computer into invalid areas of the map, and trip the Check Engine light.
Ya, my check engine light is on and my coolant is at the right level. After driving for awhile and put it in park, it idles high but when I put it in drive with my foot on the brake it idles right back down to normal. Thanks for the help
