Thanks. No, whatever you do on your truck is fine by me, but the pods at $50 or $60 will probably be cheaper than doing a custom one. I will have around $100 in materials on the plug and mold making material for the first version, another $75 or so for V.2. Glad you like it.

No, just the pod. The F-650 dash can be had for around $90 from RiffRaff, already modded for switches. Clay can even color match the dash for you for a nominal fee, as our pod will be optioned as well. The pod will be a direct replacement for the ash tray or hook, depending on what your truck came with. Adding this pod will add a special function in your truck, as it will keep you from having to tell passengers that they cannot smoke in the truck. Once they look for the "not there" ash tray, they should get the hint. 
I am the same way, don't smoke and don't allow smoking in my vehicles or house.
Glad you like the pod, I should have the proto of V.2 done in three weeks or so, hope you like it as well.

HAHA!!! Hoping I'll like V. 2 is like hoping I'd like a new truck if you gave it to me! Yeah, you're right... no smoking in my truck for sure and it'd definitely be a good deterrent. I want to get one of those "no smoking" 12v socket plugs... but it'd kinda be pointless for me because I use those plugs ALL the time. Anyways, I can't wait to see the finished product!

We use clear non-blushing casting resins a lot for custom carbon fiber parts, works great for some things, but this one will be a different casting resin. Thanks again for the props!
