I've got this issue where when I hit the brakes on my truck, most of the time I hear and feel a very large thud that sounds and feels like it's coming from right under my feet or close in that area. I know this could be any number of things, but I just wanted to check on here to see if anyone had heard of or had this issue before. Thanks.
I've had this happen before but it was a different vehicle, 94 Ford Ranger 2wd. I figured out AFTER I got rid of it, that the thud came from a worn I beam bushing apparently But you have an 03 F250 4x4....no I beam lol........ sorry its the best I got.
It is worn links for the steering stabilizer bar. How many miles on them? My 03 is on its third set and a forth set is going on next week. Not Ford parts this time.

It's got 162k on it. So how expensive are the parts and is it a hard job to do yourself?
No I know those are working. It took me 3 hours to change my brakes last weekend because 3 of the 4 slide pins had rusted inside and locked up. I had to put the caliper bracket in a vise wight the pins facing downward, put a big wrench around the neck of the pins against the lip, and beat the hell out of the wrench. Then we'd put the pin head in the vise and try and turn the bracket to break it loose. After alternating through these to ideas and oiling the hell out if the pins, 2 hours later we had all 3 out.
