99 E150 Triton V8 problems

I'm having starting problems with my van. Every 20 starts or so, she doesn't want to crank. Happened about 3-4 times already. I've got power from the battery and the lights and all else work, however, no clicking from starter. We have it towed to the mechanic and the next day he starts it up. No problems. Say he tightened up some loose wires but could not replicate the problem. Any thoughts out there?

"no click" is the solenoid. Either the power is not getting to the solenoid, or the solenoid may have a problem... also check corrosion on ground wires.. His loose fittings might fix it.
