hey guys!

Well, it's been a while since I've popped up, had a little stint about BBW trucks a week ago, but it's been a couple months before that, so I just wanted to say hi to everyone! Sad to see Banjopicker leaving...

Well, sadly it's sitting, as I had posted a while back the 90 mile round trip for school was getting pretty rough with about 12mpg and losing as much oil as it did, I was very grateful for what Bill W gave me, but I ended up deciding that it was best for me to just park it for the time being until I have the money to rebuild it right. So I got a little 92 ranger for $450 (My dad paid 550, but since he was looking at spending about 100 on a bday gift for me I said just knock 100 off and I'll pay 450!) little 2.3L 4 banger gets like 22 or 23 mpg, and I'm quite happy with it for a commuter.

Also thanks to Bill I have a 240 head that'll go on that 300!!! but sshhhh, Don't tell them 350sb chebies i'll be sneakin up on em with a 6 cylinder, haha!

Wise choice to park it until you can do it like you ultimately want it...as for the ranger...good choice..2.3 is what it is, but you will get better fuel mileage...my 91 3.0 does pretty good...although its one super tired puppy...takes a while to get up to freeway speeds...good truck though...If you get any problems, holler as I got the shop manuals for my 91...

I love the avatar as well grits...

Tell me about it!!!

Especially when I refer to my '66 F100 as "My Impressive Longbed Ford", or MILF as I like to call her..... You wouldn't BELIEVE the trouble I get into with that one!!
