Everytime I post a question like this I get told to do a search, SO DO A SEARCH!
Just don`t ask me how as I still don`t know, I haven`t tried yet. Look in the FTE main forums for your truck year, you should be able to find info there. If all else fails ask, someone will respond. Good luck and let us know what happens.
For a newer trucks like your Ranger you can contact Ford of Canada for a factory print out. I did that for my 83 Mustang convertible.

okee dokee
I have done searches.
But there must be a generic site that tell what the stuff on the door post means.
Not for my Ranger. I already know that.

Is there a site that has a generic list of ford vehicles.
Where you can enter the serial number.

When i decode cars, I usualy end up punching in the model and year, this usally pops up about 20 National clubs or registry's and they will have a link or info on there site about what all the numbers meant. What car/truck is it. I had to look up a 66 dodge newport, was looking for an old 440, turned out from the serial number it was a 383. So gave the car away.

I guess you could try the dealer too, they might have some links, whether or not they would share them though!

What Year is the truck ?
You could have posted the Vin# it in the first post and you would have had the info from me right away.
Btw, Tech questions are suggested to be placed in the tech forums ONLY not the regional forums.
If you are looking for a decoder for your 2002 , here it is
