I am in the market for a hellwig sway bar and checked www.jcwhitney.com I searched it and it came back as a sport tech body roll stabilizer by hellwig. It says this will fit my vehicle but it does not look quiet like the other hellwig sway bars on other sites. Its 148.39 and I thought about jumping on it if it is the same. Has anyone bought one from there that looks like that? thanks
I recently installed mine, and at the time JC Whitney did not have it to fit my EX. I ended up getting it from suspension connection and paid $209. If I remember correctly, this was the best price I could find three weeks ago.
I just went to JC again to double check and nothing on the site for my rig. I did see the performance bar you mentioned, but again did not fit mine and it looks like a front bar to me from the pic on the site.

Don't mean to bud into this thread but I have a Hellwig sway bar for my 2003 that has been sitting in my garage for almost 2 months waiting to be installed. Any comments on how difficult/easy the install is and anything I need to look out for? Thanks, Tom
Installed mine last night. Took about 1 1/2 hours but I had to run around and get tools instead of planning a bit ahead. The only trouble I had was when I took the existing u-bolts off the lower Shock mounts, the shocks extended to theri full length (duh!!!) which made it difficult to get the new (much larger u-bolts) and sway bar plates lined up. I finally used my floor jack under the shock to get it pushed up enough that I could handle it by hand.
BTW - Hellwig's instructions are greatly lacking in clarity. Look at the wahsers carefully and read EVERYTHING that comes in the box. After I got everything bolted on but not tightened up, I found a separate enclosure that describes the washers and there intended use. Had to re-arrange my washers then. Also the parking brake holder on the Drivers side is wierd. I ended up just getting a separate bolt and nut from my junk box to remount.
Very happy with the results however and well worth the effort in 90 degree heat......
