I don't want to destroy the headliner with a razor, just remove it to check for leaks.
The first step is to remove all of the moldings around the glass, then the roof console(s) and lights. Then, with help, slide the headliner panel out the back door/hatch.
Most of the parts are snap ins and will break if not taken out very carefully. You would be wise to search the forums and find what others have done to find and fix water leaks or have an upholstery shop do the r&r. If you break the molded fibrous headliner panel(s) it will be stressful.
I actually have the workshop pages that discusses how to remove the headliner. I would like to post them here for everyone's benefit, but they are .pdf files. I guess I dont have them attaching priviledges yet...oh, well.
