Headliner Removal

Does anyone have pictures or video of a headliner removal of a 2001 F250? I need to remove mine and before I start I would love some guidance if possible.

Thanks

Thanks Mueckster - it appears that it is more complicated than I originally thought.

When I removed mine I did not remove the rear window and was able to get it out the front door opening without creasing it. It's really not a big job just alot of screws to remove. Took me 30-45 mins tops to get mine out.

There have been a number of folks who were not so lucky as you, though, Costa. Creasing seems to have been a very real issue for most who don't take out the back glass first.

Clay and I removed mine through the passenger side door. We removed the center console and the seats, then took it out. Not a bad job. You will have to slightly bend it near the edge, but it didn't crease it. YOU MUST USE EXTREME CAUTION!

It is my understanding that the rear weatherstrip CAN be re-used. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what I was told this am as well. As long as the seal is still pliable and not weather cracked. New one is 68 bucks from Ford.

Went to go and reinstall back window today. Enlisted my teenage daughter, (hair and nails) to help. Wow, that didn't go as planned. Window sealant went everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE! The seal popped out where we started. We used two gallons of lacquer thinner to clean up and I still have this black stuff on my hands. My girls a trooper though, aint complained a lick. Tomorrows another day.
