6 Volt photos?
Hello all. I'm taking my '55 F350 back rom 12 volt to 6 volt. The used voltage regulator that I was given is rectangular in shape and doesn't fit where I think it should go on the inner fender. Does anyone have any photos of an authentic regulator or of where it is mounted on the fender?

Here is my 55 6 volt. It is on passenger side.

I'm assuming you are digressing to 6 volt to restore the originality of the truck (there's no other sane reason to do it). I might suggest that if you are set on this, you install a stock HD 60 amp generator instead of the standard 35 amp. That will require a HD regulator as well.
Also, if the truck was rewired for 12 volt, you will have to rewire it again for 6 volt as the wires will all have to be at least 2AWG larger for 6 volt.
