Question about engine swapping

I have the chance to pick up a 351c from a 73 ranchero- I am looking to put it into my 63 F100. What I need help with is the compatibility, what do I need to look for to make sure it will work with my original 4 speed granny tranny and is there anything else I should look out for to keep from having to modify the truck too much other than the mounts?

Forget the original transmission as it will not bolt to a small block bell housing.
