Tomorow I'm going to go and look at a used engine for my truck. I need some help. What are some good/bad things that I should look for. I'm not too worried about it because it comes from my brother's, best friends, brother, but none the less I was just looking to find out about a few things that I should look for. Thanks for any help.
Call me silly, but I'd go through any used engine and rebuild it before I put it in anyway. Just make sure there are no holes in the block that don't belong there.
I guess unless the scrappy can guarantee you it was low miles and a runner when he got it, and puts it in writing. (fantasyland maybe)
