Okay so the check engine light came on on my 2007 F250 Diesel. I took it to Advance and they read the code. P0672-Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit. Is this a sign of a bad glow plug or could it be the wiring? If i were to replace the glowplugs, how hard is it to do? Are they on top of the engine or do you have to take the valve covers off? Also, does anybody know which would be cylinder2 looking from the front of the truck?

The glow plugs are located between the valve cover lower edge and the top of the exhaust manifold. There are no individual GP connectors. They are in a strip and the entire needs to be removed for individual glow plug access. Just start at the front of the head and loosen each connector one by one until the entire strip is free. On the end of the GP power strip is a connector but this does not have to be disconnected to remove the strip. When you put the strip back on, insert the connectors in their respective holes and push straight down until the connector seats.
I doubt it is the wiring as that is fairly rugged.
Okay thanks for the info. I'll see if i can replace it!

Just be careful when you put the plug back in to the hole. I know someone ( me ) ,who dropped one of the plugs, and it ended up at a tight space , so I couldn't get it out with a magnet - ended up pulling the valve cover. So just be careful and patient.
