Bruce Cambell has to be one of the most down to earth actors out there. He has a website for hiring him for small films, commercials, etc. Rent the dvd "My name is Bruce Cambell", I laughed from beginning to end. He pokes fun at himself throughout all of his movies. I like him in the t.v. show burn notice also.
Tim is right, we need information as to what happened. If things get out of hand you can use the report post icon to alert the moderators. A forum is only as good as the people participating, I guess that is why FTE has always been home to me.
I have had one thread in my entire stint here shut down by a moderator. I do not disagree with them doing it, as it was way off base.
I happen to be a foul mouthed bugger in my actual presense. I am a fairly profane person though, I rarely use the lords name in vain. I do not disagree with him leaving if this is such an issue for him. That is his right. I disagree with many things in the world and to simply avoid the conflict I avoid them.
You administrators and moderators who are trying to get someone to snitch or squeal please bug off. Your job as such is to look for this offending material and handle it. Calling someone stupid is at times justified. Most people are not stupid but dont understand. There realy are some people out there who are stupid and canot tell apples from oranges.
This forum is esentialy supposed to be about trucks. Some realted stuff comes in as ok. IE-asking questions about your 390 in your LTD would probobly be accepted.
We all range in skill levels from Righty tighty to mastertech ASE. I aint the greatest wrench out there but there are alot of half ways mechanics in the world that cant hold a candle to a flame. We are here to help each other and share our knowledge. If you dont happen to like the way a fellow user puts it due to some subdued vulgarity or harshness please leave. I dont see any harm in using the english language in its entirety to comunicate a point effectively. Though for purposes of propriety, please use the greatest of discression.
BTW someone mad a point that if they can understand the intricacies of steering boxes and axle designes they should know what the F bomb is. That is a dang good point since miniors canot own property under US law. That means you have to leagly be 18 to own a truck. Oddly enough the age that you can buy smokes, chew, vote, and go to the porno.
"Grandpa, why is that man holding 2 guns in that picture? Is he going to kill someone?"
Boy, I truly hope banjopicker66 is NOT reading automotive discussion forums with his grandkids! If the kid is old enough to grasp discussions about steering gear boxes and Dana rear ends, he/she is old enough to understand jerk-off as a term for a "dummy".
Oooops! Sorry. I said "rear end".
I sure hope NumberJerk-Off doesn't read this post Sorry, Bill, just a joke, OK, ...A BAD, but FUNNY JOKE.
Quite honestly this forum is the cleanest forum that I have been actually proud to be a part of. I have not really seen any forum that was out of line on this website in this forum, except one. The thread was locked down by a moderator, and a valid reason was given as to why, in my opinion, and my thanks go out to the moderator for that. There may have been some "Out of line" comments made I can understand that, but at the same time, cursing like a sailor & cursing like Fred Flintstone there is a difference.

Hey Banjo don't go. I am like you in not wanting to see a bunch of fowl language. I do not use the language and do not want t see it either. But as others have offered to delete the language take them up on it. I do believe this site is one of the cleaner ones out there as others have said. There is another site that deals with trucks that is a lot worse. I left there due to the language, anger and harassment. Remember banjo being a Christian one of the traits is to forgive. So if you can forgive the language if they clean it up. You are one of the members I was encouraged at finding here from others. so give it one more shot.

I have known John Sutton for a good while now, he has been to my house and eaten with my family. He has made the above statement on this site more than once, and had moved off 3 to 4 times that I can recall. I just checked the Slick60 site and he is posting there currently. I am trying to recall from when John was last at my house the age of his little girl. I believe her name is Jennifer like mine, and she is older than my Jennifer, that is turning 18 shortly.
When one makes a big grandstanding claim like he did, then a super Mod makes a statement like he did when there is no proof of the event, long threads like this one with folk not in the know getting all concerned.
John's all right and will be back, just watch & see.
