Mine on my other truck are like 6 ft or so long. The bracket on the front is right at the back of the door on the frame. PLENTY of travel. I have $120 in all bolts steel and everything and they are a lot stouter then some I've seen. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow of my rear brackets.

Sorry been busy. But heres how my rear bracket is. For some reason we only welded it to the axle on the inside edge. I dont remeber why.
