The AC works, but when I select it to go to blow out of dash, it does not switch from defrost until I turn off the circulator button. Is this a vacuum problem or could it be a problme in the control unit?
When I turn the circulator back on from being off, it immedialty goes back to defrost.
Thanks for the help
Also, I just had it in (dealership) and told them about it when I had to get a solenoid replaced to get my 4X4 hubs to work. They said that everything checked out ok.. No way dd something go wrong in only 200 miles..
If it's just for the MAX setting I would tend to think vacuum leak also. I'm not sure if they changed it in '05, but the MAX A/C setting for the 99-04 trucks had it's own vacuum line just for that setting, so a vacuum leak in that line would only affect that one setting.
