What turns them on? I thought they were actuated by the heater (they turn on when the heater comes on). If they come on whenever the truck is running though, I might have to look into pulling the fuse as well, or using one of my switches to actuate it.
On my old truck, they only turned on when I clicked a button to turn them on (next to the mirror controls). On this truck, as far as I know, they do not have heated mirrors. Or, if they do, I do not know how to turn them on / off.
I have heated mirrors on my 03...and there is no switch. The heater stays on while the truck is running. It supposely heats up to about 50ish degrees so there's little chance of anything burning. It can be a pain when you wash your truck unless you dry the mirrors before you take off...unless you ENJOY waterspots. LOL

my 2003 SD was the same. No off/on switch. Here in the NWT it made sense but not if you live a lot further south. cheers
