My Mammogram Test that is. Guess I should have studied harder!! LoL!!
Ladies ~ Go get squooshed!!! I know that the "experts" say that it's not necessary until after 50 ~ I say BS!!
I know of four of us who have had bad Mams this year. We are all close to 50 ~ But if we had listened ~ and waited ~ that would have given this beast 3 or 4 more years to manifest ~ Lord only knows what could happen in that time!!!
My wife has been through that. Turns out she had to have surgery, (twice,) radiation and reconstruction. And of course that is making a very long story super short. She seems to have it behind her now, it has been about seven years. But it's no fun for anyone.
Best to you Lizzie. I hope it's minor and you get past it quickly!!
Liz, it is no laughing matter. We are all concerned for your health. A loved one of my own just experienced breast surgery and chemo thearapy. Thank you for including us among your friends and confiding in us. I hope your next checkup goes well.
I have to laugh, Scott. The alternative is too depressing.
Besides, this has helped me really put my life into perspective. Things that have been riding on the edge for far too long,,, have a definite position now.
Thank you for allowing me to share my troubles with you,,,
Good friends are a rare treasure,, and I am blessed to have so many.
Lizzie, I trust all is well. My entire family both immediate and in laws are no strangers to cancer and cancer related issues. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you can be well clear of this threat ASAP.
The fact that you can laugh is a true testament to your character and strength.
good luck! my dad has colon cancer and my mom HAD cervix cancer but beat it. the best thing to do is keep a positive attitude and NEVER give up hope. best thing is to keep a hobby. my dad is an avid motorcyclist and he is always out getting his mind off of the cancer. hes beating it, slowly but surely.
