I'm grateful for all of you who have shown me that you care,,, it has made this much easier to deal with.

I know that there's nothing I can do about it and it's completely out of my control, so I try really hard to not stress over it.

It is what it is,,,

I just need to take things one day at a time,,, and then regroup,,, and go from there.

I love you, all!!
DIRTY LAUNDRY???? WTF??? You are a human being that is experiencing something very scary right now, and sharing your feelings about it cannot even be put in the same category as airing dirty laundry. The stress of holding in your feelings can make any lumps you may have grow even faster, so let loose here, anytime about anything, no matter how big or small. Even if it doesn't have anything to do with your health. Stress is stress no matter what source it's from, and you need as little of it as possible right now. So continue to share this with FTE where the ears are plentiful and willing to listen; the shoulders are strong and comforting; the words are soothing and encouraging, and the prayers are without limit. Anyway, that's what I find here whenever I'm having a difficult time. I join the others in prayer, and I hope to hear some good news soon.

Good luck Snowbunny. We'll all be standing by you rooting you on during the proceedure. Just be glad it'll only be in spirit instead of in person.
Let us hear the good news as soon as you find out.

Well,,,,

It wasn't a smudge,,, it wasn't a smear,,, it wasn't a nose print on the glass.

It was most definitely a 'spot' and they wanted to get magnifications of it.

So, six squooshes later they confirmed that I have five "calcifications".

They looked all lumpy and bumpy,,, like popcorn.

They said that most often,,, they are benign,,,

But, they 'can' be an indication of things to come, which are not so benign.

So now we wait six months and then do it all again.

If there are any changes,,, then they will take a biopsy and go from there.

If there are no changes,,, then we wait six more months and go from there.

It's the waiting and the not knowing for sure that's gonna kill me,,,

I so hate those definite maybes.

Thank you Everybody for your warm thoughts and prayers.

That is really good news Snowbunny. And I'd rather live with a maybe than a positive for cancer.... if those were the only two choices I had. Just remember that the more you worry about it the bigger it will get. Just do your part by trying to keep your body strong with good food and exercise, and give the rest to God. Thanks for letting us know, and continue to share about this whenever, and however, you want. We are here for you. Always.

If that is really to much to bear, and I know it can be, you can take charge and tell them to do the needle biopsy now. You can be in charge of this thing.
