crash course
..ok.. i have a few ?'s....what are good years for f 250 and f 350 4x4's? im looking for a good truck to pull 7k lbs. and be a good offroad truck as well. i have an 80 f350 with a ttb, but hear there not so good, and the compression sucks anyway...i also plan on at least a 6" lift. is there a good f250 or 350 with strong running gear and a good sized engine out there for $6500 or so /used of course/?...also diesel or gas?...any info would be great..thanks..

Dont' get a TTB F-250 if you plan on getting a 6" or higher lift. The TTB is difficult to keep straight in alignment. Get the F-350 with the D60 solid front axle. You'll be GLAD you did.
