I have a 2005 F350 PSD with the 6.0L. When I accelerate like getting onto the freeway, it sounds like the turbo is making this "whoosh, whoosh, whoosh" noise. Basically the boost sounds like its variable and not constant. However, my boost gauge is steady as a rock and so is my RPM's. I have no idea what this could be. Bad turbo maybe?...... the only mods I have done to the motor are: Sinister EGR delete, 5" MBRP Turbo Back exhaust (no cat or muffler), Garret GT3571VA Turbo, Edge w/Attitude, and some other minor things bu thats basically it. Does anyone have a clue of whats going on and how I can fix it?
