Pulled these two codes today and need some help on what they are and what problems they cause and solutions.
I know I am being needy but you guys are so nice figured I would start here.
Thanks
Jim
P.S. Ok figured out the p0603 but still not sure on the back pressure one
I found this,0472 EBP Exhaust press sensor ckt low input Disables back pressure device Open/grounded circuit, biased sensor, PCM. Hope it helps but maybe you already know this much.
Jim, it means the exhaust back pressure sensor has failed or is unplugged. PCM is detecting no voltage from it. Its sole purpose is to help the PCM determine how much the EBPV should close on cold mornings. If you have the EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve) unplugged, like some of us then it does nothing except throw the pesky code.

so if it broke off then basically that is a good thing
Well, anything broke ain't good, but in this case it won't hurt anything if that is your question.
I guess what I meant is with the sensor being broke off does it have the same affect as others disconnecting it. I am assuming disconnecting it helps these trucks in some way.
