i got a small floor jack,tow chain,1 gal antifreeze,1qt oil,1 bottle brake fluid,various types of rachet and pull straps,breaker bar,large screw driver and lug nuts for a steel wheel.people are kinda impressed how much will fit in there.i have no lock and no one has ever screwed with it.

The key lock can be replaced really easy... if you look under the handle it had a nut on the back of it. I bet replacements are easy to find anywhere they sell trailer hardware.
I personally don't carry tools in my vehicles, but I'm **** about keeping my rigs maintained.
You should at least carry the minimum tools required to: 1) Change a tire. 2) Replace a V-belt. 3) Change a set of points. Remember to pack SAE and not metric.
small set of end wrenches, small socket set, water pump, fuel pump,and filter and alternator. standard gear. every time i have been left on the side of the road or elsewhere it is one of these that has done it.plus qt. oil. gal. antifreeze, and brake fluid. LOL. dutch
