Clutch question :)

I have done just about every repair on my truck (81 f-350 4x4), but I have never played with the tranny. I know my clutch is living its last days. After it was 50/50 there has been this noise and you can feel it in the cluitch too. When you press down at about3/4 or when your almost at the floor, there is a poping feeling and sound. Its not a hydralic clutch, its mechanical. I posted a thread about it and one guy said it was the clutch finger. I dont know what that is, what is it? One guy said it was the body mounts. The thing is, is the clutch has only done this lately. Since it was new, it was smooth, no noises or poping. o it was to be some thing to do with the clutch goin on me. Is there any ppl who have experienced this same thunking/poping thing with their clutch as it was going? WHat was the problem? Thanks for the help in this area

Tell me how hard it is to replace the clutch too Thanks

Billy
