possible gearing
What would've been the gearing choices availible in 84 150's. Mines 4WD of course
. It had a 300 I6, NP435, NP208 t-case, Ford 8.8 rear housing and Dana 44 front end. What would it have came with more than likely? I don't see any kind of heavy duty options on it any where. No twin front shocks or sway bars of anysort.

Hey bud,
I have the same basic truck except mine is an 85. Mine came with 3.08 gears. An easy way to find out is to check on the driver's door frame for the info tag. Near the bottom is the word "axle" with a code underneath it. Your owner's manual can decode that for you. If you don't have an owner's manual, post the code here and we'll help you. If that tag is unreadable, there should also be a metal tag attached to the rear housing with the gear information.
