1950/51 is the same. 1952/54 is different, as is 1955.
The Blue Oval that was introduced on the exterior of cars and trucks beginning in 1928 virtually disappeared after: 1947 (trucks), 1948 (cars).
You gotta really look close for it between 1949/80. It may be on some hubcaps, but that's about it for the exterior.
The Blue Oval re-appeared in 1981 on the decklids of Mustangs & Granada's.
btw: If you think I'm **** here on FTE...you oughtta see me in action in public. What you see here...is mild by comparison!
The F100 Western Nats is being held June 26th at Featherly Park in Yorba Linda. Waltz on over to the FTE SoCal Chapter booth...and get an earful.
Ditto for the Cody WY Winchester gun show. I'm the acknowledged "know-it-all" on the Winchester Model 1895, so I usually have a thing or two to say.
1949 Ford passenger car hoods had F O R D letters. The first year for the Ford badge (coat of arms) was 1950.

Badges? We don't have any badges! We don't have to show you any stinkin' badges! -Treasure of the Sierra Madre (WB:1948).
