I just purchased a 2004 F250 crew cab 6.0l turbo diesel. It is my first diesel and first F250. I was looking over the cab the other day and removed the fuse panel cover. Found a wire that had been cut and taped. Had theses markings on it

I followed the wire and it goes through the firewall and connects to the exaust.
Anyone have any idea what this goes to? Tuner maybe?
Thanks for any help.
Greg
That's what it is, did a search and found the samething. Guy probably had that and some pillar gauges. I agree, would of been nice if they were left in there...
Also makes u wonder if he was beatin' the thing, when that stuff is usually put in and then removed, means he may of ran it hard and put it away wet a few times..

Hopefully it was not, the truck looks to be in great shape. It is an 04 with 79,000 miles. I hope with that mileage I want have too many problems out of it. First time with diesel, so I opted for the extended warranty.
