Reputable Exhaust Shops?
I live in Bartlett, (closest "big" town is Schaumburg). I just ordered the Y-Pipe conversion for my '01 350 V10. I have only a remedial understanding and skill to weld. (arc only). Enough to tack weld in the needed situations. Does anyone have a shop they always go to in this area that I can trust my tuck to for this weld. I do all my own work on EVERYTHING and letting someone else touch my truck makes me squeamish. It's just three simple welds, and I know I can probably just go to the multiple shops down the street for this, but any suggestions would help.

-Secondly: Bobby - I haven't been checking the IL chapter forum forever, and am sorry for that. If I knew that you guys met right down the street at the sonic, and yesterday at the tilted kilt (yum), I would def. hang out for a while.

I know a place but it might be a bit of a drive for you. I'm in Willowbrook, and so is this guy. He is a hell of a guy, and might be worth the trip for you if you can't find anyone else. PM me if you need to...

Thanks sammy77. The pipe still isn't here. Ordered it Sunday the 23rd and hoping it will arrive today. The SPD site still says processing... Not quite sure what that means. I hope it doesn't mean they haven't sent it out yet...
