Turbo hoses

2005 F450 6.0 Recently I had the blue hose come off the turbo while towing. We were able to drive to the dealership to buy a new one. I am wondering how long do these hoses last before they need replaced? Is there a scheduled maintenance to replace them?
I plan on buying a spare to keep in the truck, who has the best price for them?

Partsguyed has them for a good price... note... you will need the hose clams they have a redesigned one that solves a lot of problems.

Turbo hose replacement is not listed in the scheduled maintenance guide from Ford.

Just to update the turbo hose that failed was Part#6C3Z 6C640 A. This hose was replaced less then 2,000 miles ago. There were splits on both the inside and the outside of the hose. The shop scanned the truck looking for over boost condition, no codes. They could not explain why the hose failed. The truck is stock.
