headlight switch please help

Well from the chart, interior lamps are 'D1' and instrument lamps are 'I'

'B1' is battery +

You probably want a rheostat on the instrument light circuit.

Thought about and I could do it, but its a beater truck and Ive never adjusted the brightness of my dash lights so...
