rotor. alignment

I was putting new front brakes on my 03 f150 heritage, and when i put the passenger side on it seemed to be to tight to the rotor. almost like it was not alighned correctly. the wheel did not spin freely and i am not sure what the fix is? anybody experience this before? It is two bolts should not be a big problem but i can't figure it out.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, you replaced the brake pads and on one side the pads are dragging on the rotor even though the brake pedal is not applied.
The only thing that comes to mind is the caliper pistons didn't get pushed in all the way on the side that's dragging, or you bought a bad ( cheap? ) set of pads and the friction material is to thick on one of the pads.
Swap the pads from one side to the other to see if the problem occurs on the other side ?

when you have the caliper hanging free, you need to use a c-clamp to push the hydrlauilc pistons back into the caliper before you instsall the new pads. the new pads are thicker and will drag the disc.

The rubber boots that cover your slide pins have a flat side on the attached washer towards the caliper, make sure the flat side is aligned with the flat backside of your caliper. stick your head back there and make sure. Grease those slide pins too. Like someone mentioned compress the caliper piston in too. Piston should be compressed flush with the piston housing. Use a old brake pad when using a c clamp so you don't damage your piston.

Thanks for the help everyone. The slide pin on the passenger side was seized up and the boot was missing so i replaced the caliper bracket and everything is just fine now.

Greasing the pins are maybe the most over looked maintenance, that and not replacing brake hardware on drum brakes.

Good job!
