no, not used for personal work... they think i will use it for my job work. like, if i were a plumber, contractor, car transporter (thats what i do lol).
I pay $119 a year for my '86 ... I have a completely clean record in Maine.
Not so good in Calif, I have 7 DWI's, all over .32, Hundreds of moving violations (mostly do to street racing) and I'm not insurable in Calif cause Calif won't let me have a DL.
Been sober since 4/21/1990 ... [edit] Gee, I just realized thats 20+ years [/edit]

Isn't there a difference between personal policy and commercial policy rates?
When I got my policy for my '65 F350 flatbed, the agent said I could get a personal policy for 1,600 a year or a commercial policy for 900 a year. Since it's a business truck anyways, I got the commercial policy. My buddies pay anywhere from 1200-2400 for their cars or pickup trucks here in Western Massachusetts.
My rate dropped last year when I was 19, down to 650 a year.
The agent said next year I'll be down to 400 a year.
But this is with a commercial policy.
I'm 30 and I pay $25 a month for liability on my truck, same for my mustang. I've had a clean record for the last 10 years as well. My wife pays about $50 a month on her jeep for full coverage but she got a speeding ticket a year ago. I've been with geico since I was 15, heck my rates dropped after my first accident and never really changed after my other accident and several tickets. They have never given me a reason to go looking for better rates.
oooP, I miss quoted, the ol'lady said SHE pay's $133 a year for my '86... All our insurance is in one policy, house, shop, cars, trucks, trailers, toys, etc...
Yup, I caused my share of trouble, still do, just cause I'm old don't mean I'm dead!
Only I drink very very little alcohol these days once or twice a year maybe!
