Hello guys, looking for info on HB Ford. Looking to get back in a diesel and they seem to have a pretty decent used superduty selection. Also would I be crazy to try and find a used unmodded low miles 2007 6.0??
Not looking to buy for a few more months but made a emotional purchase getting rid of my 08 PS.
Are you looking for a particular body style/trim level?
Lariat crew cab 4x4. Yea, that's what I was thinking is getting an 07 6.0 instead of dealing with the 6.4 and I won't be able to afford a new 6.7. Im just gonna save up for the head studs to get done before I buy, but like i said im not looking to buy for about 6mths I'll be back in Jan of 11.
I bought an '85 Bronco II and an '88 F150 from HB Ford. The F150 was a fleet order and I paid $99 over invoice. But HB has a checkered past, and my experience was a long time ago.
But does it really matter? If they have the truck you like at the price you want to pay, go for it. Any '06 or '07 will be the exact same product.
I probably would not have my diesel service done at HB Ford.

Well, far as work I'm not worried about I'll be getting my work done up at my local ford place in Yucca Valley, and Ill be getting orders back east soon after I get back. But I guess what I worry about is HB selling me a piece of junk.

The nice thing is that since they are a Ford dealer, you can ask for a printout of the Oasis report on the truck. You can even post the highlights here for an opinion. Then if you have any doubts you can always take it to another dealer of your choice to have them check it out. But Oasis and Carfax should tell you a lot.
I don't have to tell you, you know the routine. HB Ford is as good/bad as any of them.

Originally Wilson Ford...then Terry York Ford.
About 8 years ago, DMV shut down Terry York Ford inre hanky-panky sales contracts. York, AFAIK, was a front man for Ralph Williams.
After York closed, there was no dealer there for several years.
I had my Fusion serviced last Saturday, my local dealer (Ed Butts in La Puente) told me that Chino Hills Ford and Sunset Ford just closed down.
btw: About a year ago, a member of our chapter (I cannot recall who) was looking for some original Wilson Ford chrome license plate frames...I just acquired one.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I am wondering if Bill (or anybody else) knows where I can get a Wilson Ford license frame, or a Wilson Ford promo of any kind, such as a key fob etc. I have an old 1971 Mustang that was purchased at Wilson Ford in Huntington Beach, and I have been searching for anything like that to go with the car. Thanks ! Andy ("The Lost Boss Mustang" )

I had one awhile back, gave it to FTE member Bill W (Bill Wilson), AZ chapter leader, lives in Tucson. Another FTE member gave it to me, cuz I'm also Bill Wilson.
