AS long as you are not intermixing them, you will be just fine!

A second set isn't a problem. Don't forget your truck has tire pressure sensors. You'll want the second set of wheels to have the sensors. And you'll need to be able to retrain the sensors to the truck when you change them over each spring/fall. Unless you don't mind putting up with the indicator light and/or beeping from the message center.

Beyond that, there's no problem.

I was kinda hoping the sensor thing wouldn't be an issue, I am not sure what 2 sets of tires and rims would go for with sensors but my plan was just to get some cheap rims and good winter tires.
You guys have any suggestions on what to look for?

If you look around you will be able to find a set used of oem rim with tires and sensor for under a 1000 for sure if not cheaper

also the reset tool for the the sensors is less than 30 dollars and takes less than 15 min to reset

Speedometer

Perhaps I dating myself, but it use to be that when you put different sized rims/tires on your vehicle, the speedometer would not give you your true speed. The speedometer was calibrated with the factory sized rims/tires and increasing or decreasing the diameter of the wheel would make the speedometer indicate a greater or lesser speed than you were actually traveling.

With all of this new electronic stuff on the vehciles now days, perhaps this is taken into account.

actually the overall diameter in the tires that Ford uses are pretty much the same, so there should be very little to no effect on the speedometer if swapping the factory sizes. For the 20" and 18" 4x4 sizes, the 275/55/20 and 275/65/18 factory tire sizes are both roughly 32" diameter tires.

Read your owner's manual about the sensor reset tool...
