Droid Dyno App?
Does anyone have a dyno app for the Droid? I just got a droid from Verizon and I think the dyno app would be really cool.
Anyone have this for a PSD? or anything else for that matter.

It is free and appears to have lots of features.
I gave it a very brief try yesterday on the way to work. Plugged in my truck's weight, gearing, and RPMs for a 3rd gear run.
Ran WOT in 3rd gear from 2K-3K RPMs. Apparently my 6.4L makes 65 HP!
Not sure what went wrong, but I'll have to mess with it and see what I can come up with. I think it would be more accurate with a HEAVY trailer assuming you knew your exact weight. That way it might take more than 2 seconds to go from 2K-3K!

the "aDyno" is pretty detailed. you'll have to look into what you have for vehicle perimeters.
- pitch / roll charicteristics
- curb weight
- additinal weight
- drive train loss
- rolling resistance
- drag coefficient
- frontal area
then your speeds at what rpm's and max speed at red line.
it's not a plug and play app, you have to have some specs to load into it. i was reading on another forum where a guy dyno'd his car at 288rwhp, and when he plugged all the dyno info into his droid, it came up with 285rwhp when he tried it out. like he stated on his test trial, you have to have the info pretty close to get a good estimate, if the info's off then the measurements are off.

just wait till you start reading about custom ROM's and over clocking the CPU..... then you'll REALLY be hooked!

My incredible came loaded with 2.1. But I'm having a small issue with my Facebook contacts and Phone contacts merging - my FB contacts will just get super-imposed over my recent calls list. Kinda weird. I'm on the list for a replacement HTC Incredible (once they fill the back-order).

It's def a software bug. I'm sure it can be fixed, but I guess we just have to wait for an update. I'm still getting a replacement Incredible though (my camera lense is cracked)
