ok so its that time of year when the pests are about, and they've seem to infest everything...most notably my truck and jeep...friggin mice. Ive tried sticky traps and poison, but does anyone know a why to keep them from wanting to live in my rigs?...i keep them very clean, no food inside unattended what so ever...so whats the deal? any good ideas cause id rather not poison them just for the fact that they die in the truck...and then i go body searching when it heats up.
I swear I've actually received testimonials that Fluid Film will keep them from chewing on wires and nesting. I don't have first hand knowledge, but I've heard this a few times...

Wouldn't suprise me. Stuff doesn't smell very appetizing.
I'll try the mothballs, crossed my mind but i didnt listen the first time...i tell you its mighty frightening when ones sitting on ur foot lookin up at u as u hit the breaks...dirty buggers
Mothballs work really well...during the off-season, I put a couple of handfulls of them around the interior, and even more under my show roadster. With the mice population out here in the high desert, it's about the only thing that works during the winter months.
I don't recommend mothballs. They contain Napthalene which is a carcinogen. Also, your truck will always smell like mothballs.
I really don't have a solution besides keeping a cat around?
Only pests I'm dealing with are ants. Truck has a small coolant leak (freeze plug) that I haven't fixed yet. So warm weather came and they came out and found that sweet smell haha.
