finnaly found out the issue with my 01 f-350. Dealer replaced the icp and some type of valve thing, at the tune of 700$ my truck is running again. Now i can reinstall my f-5 and be back to normal. hopefully there wont be any more problems, knock on wood!!!
Glad to hear you are on the road again.
Out of curiosity, did you previously post your symptoms here before you went to the dealer? If so, it would be interesting to see that post and what some of the suggestions might have been just so myself and others can educate ourselves in case we have a similar issue.
Thanks. I suspected there was a previous post but I couldn't find it when I did my search. The OP thought he had bad fuel which turned out to be a ICP sensor and possibly the IPR valve as well? Makes sense. Bad fuel and bad IPR would cause driveability issues....
you got it. i was only able to get 9 lbs of boost then flat line no power at all. not fun trying to find the issue. took it to three diffrent shops here in havasu. they all hooked there scanners and could not find the problem. none of them had the auto zone style scanners they had good ones. guess not as good as the dealer, come to find out the guy at the dealer has a 7.3 and he knows them quite well and the tow truck co that scuffed up my grill is going to order me a new one. then i get to re drimmel the international emblim on the new grill.
