emergency brake

I can't be the only one with rusted out backing plates for my emergency brakes. Mine have rusted out and needs replaced where is the best place to get these plates Ford wants a arm and two legs. Right now I have no emergency brake and would like to fix it. It is a 2004 f250 4x4

I never have found them without spending an arm and two legs we can't be the only ones. My friend's truck did it and he spent over a 1000.00 of his mom's hard earned money to get them fixed.
