Another Harley light thread

Hey guys,
I know there are a ton of these threads but I am wanting to put these lights in my 2000 and had a few questions. I saw some aftermarket lights on ebay and wanted to know if anyone had bought these.
FORD F250 05-07 HEADLIGHT SET LIGHTS W/ HARLEY PAIR NEW: eBay Motors (item 270559530348 end time Jun-05-10 11:33:50 PDT)
Also I plan on getting a 7.3 diesel sometime in the future and was wondering if it would be possible to put my stock lights back in when I sell this truck.
Thanks,
Drew

I got mine a while ago from a local aftermarket vendor. I paid $60 each, with bulbs (that I didn't use - because I also converted to HIDs). The quality is ok, not as good as Ford. I also drilled mine for strobes, so I wasn't willing to shell out the cash for Factory parts. I don't know where you're located, but CertiFit Auto Body Parts - Home is my source for aftermarket goods.
Don't forget, once you cut the 99-04 headlamp mounting panel to accomodate the 05-07's, you can't go back. You're stuck with 05-07 headlamps. Also, you have to get the adapter to convert your 99-04 9007 Bulbs to 05-07 H13's.
While looking for pics, it seems I mostly have winter (plow) pics...

You could always buy an 05-07 headlamp panel too. I know lots of guys prefer to do that - some people think cutting up a 99-04 is a hack-approach.
Then, when you get rid of the truck, just re-install your stock panel and headlamps.

Thanks Man!!!!

Now theres an idea. Would a 2000 grill bolt up to the 05+ panel?

Found this on Ebay, looks like it would be perfect, just wonder if it would work with the 2000 grill and bumper.

I have something very similar to those you posted. Mine are made by TYC and are actually pretty high quality. They have great light output and a pretty definitive line for the low beams. I have a lift, and even then, they still are bright on the road.

Like he said above, one you cut up your stock backing, there is no going back, but I'm not planning as my old lights were terrible.

TYC makes a lot of the OEM lens assemblies so yeah pretty good quality. I sell them at O'Reilly, but they aren't nearly as inexpensive as those ones on eBay.

I been casually looking for harley-like lights but doesnt seem like those folks or anyone else for that matter makes em for the 08's yet? They been out now for 3 years now you'd figure they are out there - heck they already got the next style out... but I'm just not seeing them yet.
