OK, I know this thread has been started many of times but I can't find the exact answer i'm looking for. Will the 05-07 header panel with grille and Harley lights bolt up to the 99 f250 front end, or will the header not fit. I don't want to buy to the new bumper if i didn't have to so i was just going to trim the grille to fit the old bumper but i needed to know if the 05 header is basically the same as the 99. if this is legit thats an amazing deal!

 

it looks to me as the products in question are ford reproductions . there is no possible way to even come close to a ford wholesale price . they look to be good quailty . as for the install , my 01 to 07 swap was a cake walk . no one can really tell unless they study the suspension . everything bolted right up with no modifactions

You can get the black Harley lights for $120 a set.

But for the rest of it too, that is a killer deal, if its not made out of aluminum foil.

 

Well then, it looks like i'm going to be the Ginnie pig. I guess I'll straggle some money together and get it to see if its worth the quality or not. Hope it is I think the only problem may be that since the bumper was different on the 05-up that the bottom of the header may have to be cut because the bumper on the 04-down sits higher. And obviously i'll have to cut the grille some too for the bumper.

buy the whole thing ... im pretty sure u can use the 05 header panel with the 04 bumper if not just dont use the header its still a good deal

 

Why is the ford oval on the grill not included?

 

Often companies that offer crash parts sell things divided up more so than the factor does

 

I belive there's no blue oval because it's not a ford part . I may be wrong . I just looked @ my invoice : for a real ford headlight (clear) it lists for 207.88 . I paid 150.92 . When something seems to unbelievable , someones runnin a hustle . One thing in the suppilers favor is his rating . The test I would conduct is to flat out ask . I understand that you have some protection from ebay , but not how much .

 

Just a suggestion , do it right the first time . I dont think it will look good modified the way you spoke of . but also who am I to say-your truck ,your way . I purchased an alien patrol bumper with the winch and 4 off road lights and bull bar . I think I'm a little crazy for what I paid . Did I see that you live in MD ? I may know of an auto recycler in my area(perry hall) .

I did some digging and it seems there is a company that makes the OEM style replacment/replica headlamps. Not saying they are complete trash or anything but they are DOT approved, so it might just be a cheaper alternative to not having to shell out alota cash for original OEM headlamps.

 

So let everyone know when you buy them, If they turn out to be pretty good i'll be buying it forsure i've been wanting to convert to the 05 front end for a while now.
