Ok so I was checking why my front vents were not working with my AC, I follow the ac vacuum lines from the block to the vent controls, when i got there, i found out that the line leading into the back of my dash through a tiny hole had become disconnected. HOW THE HELL DO I PLUG THIS BACK IN??? Not only do I not know how to find out how to get here, I got no clue where to even start. I tried pulling out the glove box, this didnt work because the air bag assembly is there (or something of that magnitude). Anyone got any clue on how to save this, or should I just suck it up, drop the 3 or 4 bills at the dealership, and have them plug in a simple damn vacuum line? FML

I have looked in my service manual and cannot find a vacuum schematic to be able to help you. I'm sure there is one in there somewhere, I just can't find it.
I think you will be best off taking it to either a shop that specioalizes in A/C repair or the dealer. The final option would be to take the dash apart, which is a lot of work, and try to locate the connection.
There are several vacuum motors that operate the various doors in the system and at this point I believe that a shop would be your best option.
Taking the dash apart is a time consuming and frustrating procedure, lots of little and sometimes hidden screws that have to be found to keep from breaking anything, a real PIA. I broke the surround on my clock while disassembling mine.
I suggest buying a service manual CD off of eBay if you intend to continue working on your Navigator, I did but there are times like this when it dosent help much.
Good luck with it.
Thanks again Mel, I do believe I'll be taking it to a shop on this one. Man problem after problem after problem with this one after 100k miles (btw, eveyone else, it is a 04 Navigator). CD changer is stuck and will not play any cds, multiple misfires on cylinder 3, now the AC. Man when does the pain end???

I have 140,000 on my 00 Navigator and bought it right but with a bad engine. Changed the engine with a salvaged unit and now have some minor issues with the suspension, overall it's a fine ride now that I got it away from the yoyo that was running it into the ground.
My Mark VIII has a stuck CD in it and my son gets it out for me when I get around to bothering him about it. He unplugs the power to it and does "something" to it and it releases the cartridge. I'll see if I can find out the procedure from him later today.
Misfires might be a COP going bad or it could be the plug on that fuel injector popped off or just loose from when you were doing the plugs
Don't give up hope, you have a fine car/truck and it's worth the effort to keep it that way.
BTW, it was the vacuum line that leads into the firewall from the engine, behind the battery. Still not working, im leaning on replacing the o2 sensor for the misfires, i replaced the coilpack and plug and still getting the same error code even after it was cleared.
